Dolce & Gabbana has created two new exciting retail experiences for travelling shoppers as the iconic luxury brand opened new stores at Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Rome Fiumicino International Airport.
Both stores are standalone and directly operated, in line with the brand’s development model in the travel retail market. This allows Dolce & Gabbana to leverage its standout storytelling and brand experience and create a truly engaging and unique experience for shoppers, crafting a luxury haven in the travel retail sector.
The Shanghai Pudong store opened late last year in Terminal 2 and features an eye-catching façade which puts the brand’s iconic collections front and centre for shoppers. This continues inside, with a gallery layout which makes every product accessible in a format tailored to the needs of the travelling shopper.
At the heart of the new store are the Men’ and Women’s Collections for SS24, alongside a clear focus on accessories, which are perfect for swift and convenient purchasing in a time-pressured travel retail environment.
Opening in December last year, the Fiumicino store is at the heart of the new luxury precinct at the Italian airport. Leveraging the brand’s iconic status, the open façade draws passing shoppers into a space where they can experience a piece of the Dolce & Gabbana world for themselves. The brand’s incredible new collections sit alongside its luxury accessories, which travellers can explore and discover while immersing themselves in the brand’s ambience in a space which transports them away from the busy nearby airport concourse.
